05 / Companions / for fun

Your dog.
A desk on
the night shift.

Every dog has a companion sheet.

Its traits, read back as a tiny job description: where it is posted, what it does, how it barks. Type any id to meet one.

Sheets are flavour text. They earn nothing, unlock nothing and change nothing about a dog or its value.

01 / What a sheet reads

Post. Duty. Habit.
Shift. Bark. Same DNA.

  1. 01 / Tag

    It gets a post.

The collar code decides which room of the server it guards.

  2. 02 / Tag

    It gets a duty.

The same code says what it does there all night.

  3. 03 / Eyes

    It has a habit.

Wide eyes, sleepy eyes, spiral eyes: each one comes with a quirk.

  4. 04 / Gear

    It keeps a shift.

The hard hat works days; the antenna takes the radio desk.

  5. 05 / Tail

    It barks its way.

Short, loud, polite or squeaky, read from the tail.

  6. 06 / Chain

    It never changes.

Same DNA, same sheet, for as long as the dog exists.

Sheets are generated in your browser from the same rules as the drawing. Nothing is stored or sent.

02 / Real and not yet

One thing works today.
The rest is a sketch.

Sheets / live

Read any dog.

Post, duty, habit, shift and bark for every id, derived from its traits. Works now, for all Woof404 dogs.
Shift notes / idea

A line from the holder.

A short note a holder could pin to their dog, signed by their wallet. Not built, and it would carry no rewards if it were.
Ears
How it listens
Eyes
What it notices
Mouth
How it greets
Gear
Which shift it takes
Tail
How it barks

No stats, no levels, no grinding. A sheet describes a dog; it never ranks one.

03 / Ideas on the shelf

Listed as ideas,
not as a roadmap.

If one of these ever gets built, it ships with its code and with no promise attached.

01 / Training / idea

Practice tasks.

Small tasks a dog could log, like a round of fetch. Scores would stay scores: no prizes, no ranking rewards.
02 / Rooms / idea

A server map.

A page drawing every post on one map, with the dogs that guard each room. Pure decoration.
03 / Merge notes / idea

Parents remembered.

A merged Rare's sheet could mention its four parents by post and duty. Lineage is already on chain.

04 / The only real change

Four Commons.
One Rare. One new sheet.

Open the merge lab

A merge is the only thing that changes a dog after the reveal. The four Commons are burned and a new Rare arrives with its own traits and its own sheet.

The new Rare keeps all four parent ids on chain, so its history is readable by anyone.

Until the kennel contract is live, the lab runs on practice dogs in your browser.
